The Achilles HB-FX boats feature a unique folding transom, lightweight design, and full-length carry bag that combine to make these rigid hull models the easiest to transport and launch. Despite their lighter weight, both these popular FX models offer large load capacities and the ability to carry four people. The Achilles HB-FX series offers boaters the most convenient RIBs available.The Achilles HB-270FX inflatable boat is the smaller of the two FX models. Once deflated, folded, and stored in its carry bag, the boat will be less than seven feet long and only take up about three and a half feet of width. Common applications for this hull include beach launching, harbor taxiing, fishing, diving, and more. With a fiberglass hull and hard chines, this boat will plane with up to about 2 persons with an eight horsepower outboard.
