As an authorized Honda dealer, Boat Specialists sells it new with the full Honda 5-year factory warranty, after our factory-qualified technicians test-run it.
Honda Jet outboards are built for water where propeller-driven boats can't go: rocky shallows, river rapids and sandbars. The low-profile jet foot lets you run in minimal depth without worrying about damaging a propeller on rocks or other obstacles. The 40 Jet is based on Honda's proven BF60 platform. The lower jet pump unit is sold separately.

$335 Dealer Engine Prep - Our factory-qualified technicians perform a full test run of your new outboard by unpacking it and connecting it to the rigging, fuel, battery, and a diagnostic computer. We run the motor up to operating temperature and test every function to make sure your new motor is working just as it should. The manufacturer's required inspection checklist is completed and submitted to the manufacturer to validate the warranty.
