The Mercury 115ELPT is an 115hp Command Thrust four-stroke outboard with remote mechanical controls, electric start, power trim and tilt, and a 20" long shaft, weighing 360 lbs. Built for heavier boats like pontoons and deck boats, plus aluminum console and fish and ski boats. As an authorized Mercury dealer, Boat Specialists sells it new with the full Mercury 3-year factory warranty, after our factory-qualified technicians test-run it.
Mercury's 2.1-liter FourStrokes are light for their displacement, so they generate plenty of torque, get boats on plane quickly and stay efficient at cruising speed. They share the maintenance-free valvetrain design of Mercury's 150hp FourStroke. Command Thrust models add a larger, heavy-duty gearcase and a bigger propeller for the thrust and control heavier boats need.

$410 Dealer Engine Prep - Our factory-qualified technicians perform a full test run of your new outboard by unpacking it and connecting it to the rigging, fuel, battery, and a diagnostic computer. We run the motor up to operating temperature and test every function to make sure your new motor is working just as it should. The manufacturer's required inspection checklist is completed and submitted to the manufacturer to validate the warranty.

Do I need a short or long shaft?
Measure your transom from the top edge straight down to the bottom of the hull: about 15" calls for a short shaft, 20" for a long shaft, 25" for an extra-long shaft, and 30" for an ultra-long shaft.
