  • Description

The Mercury 300XL is a 300hp four-stroke outboard with Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS), electric start, power trim and tilt, and a 25" extra long shaft, weighing 538 lbs. A good match for center consoles, dual consoles, offshore fishing boats, pontoons and other large boats, in single or multi-engine setups. As an authorized Mercury dealer, Boat Specialists sells it new with the full Mercury 3-year factory warranty, after our factory-qualified technicians test-run it.

Mercury's 4.6-liter V8 FourStrokes are built for strong performance, reliability and easy ownership. Large displacement delivers big torque for a fast holeshot and confident cruising across a wide range of boats.

    Mercury 300XL Key Features

Go Farther: Advanced Range Optimization by Mercury Marine uses closed-loop fuel control to precisely adjust the fuel mixture and deliver the best possible efficiency.

Keep It Steady: Adaptive Speed Control maintains engine speed (rpm) regardless of load or condition changes – such as rough water, tight turns, tow sports and lower speeds on plane – without having to frequently adjust throttle position, a first for the outboard industry.

Lighter by Design: Ounce by ounce, Mercury engineers cut pounds from the FourStroke outboards, ensuring each engine is the lightest in its respective class.

Smart Charging: Idle Charge battery-management prevents boaters from draining their batteries while operating multiple electronic devices. When battery voltage is reduced, the engine will automatically increase idle rpm to boost alternator output and recharge low batteries to the proper level.

    REQUIRED FEE

$560 Dealer Engine Prep - Our factory-qualified technicians perform a full test run of your new outboard by unpacking it and connecting it to the rigging, fuel, battery, and a diagnostic computer. We run the motor up to operating temperature and test every function to make sure your new motor is working just as it should. The manufacturer's required inspection checklist is completed and submitted to the manufacturer to validate the warranty.
