The Tohatsu MFS140AWETUL is a 140hp white four-stroke outboard with tiller or remote steering (rigging sold separately), electric start, power trim and tilt, and a 25" extra long shaft. A good match for center consoles, pontoons, bay boats and larger aluminum boats. The 140hp's industry-first 4-2-1 Performance Tuned Exhaust maximizes low-end torque and acceleration, giving it a best-in-class torque-to-displacement ratio; on some boats it performs like 150hp outboards that weigh up to 100 lbs more. Its Simpliq SOHC-4V design places the spark plugs in the center of each combustion chamber for strong running and fuel efficiency.

$410 Dealer Engine Prep - Our factory-qualified technicians perform a full test run of your new outboard by unpacking it and connecting it to the rigging, fuel, battery, and a diagnostic computer. We run the motor up to operating temperature and test every function to make sure your new motor is working just as it should. The manufacturer's required inspection checklist is completed and submitted to the manufacturer to validate the warranty.

Do I need a short or long shaft?
