The Tohatsu MFS80AJETETUL is a 80hp four-stroke jet outboard with tiller or remote steering (rigging sold separately), electric start, power trim and tilt, and a 25" extra long shaft, weighing 414.5 lbs. Built for shallow rivers and other water too shallow for a propeller, such as on jet jon boats and river boats. As an authorized Tohatsu dealer, Boat Specialists sells it new with the full Tohatsu 5-year warranty, and our factory-qualified technicians test-run every new motor before delivery.
The 80hp jet is built on Tohatsu's SOHC-4V platform, with an even-length intake manifold, 4-2-1 Performance Tuned Exhaust and a fine-tuned ECU for strong performance, good fuel efficiency and a quiet idle. Idle and trolling speed adjust from 650 to 850 rpm in five steps from the key switch or the optional multi-function tiller handle, which also puts the stop switch, shift and trim controls in one place. It's built for shallow, rugged waterways that a propeller can't reach.

$335 Dealer Engine Prep - Our factory-qualified technicians perform a full test run of your new outboard by unpacking it and connecting it to the rigging, fuel, battery, and a diagnostic computer. We run the motor up to operating temperature and test every function to make sure your new motor is working just as it should. The manufacturer's required inspection checklist is completed and submitted to the manufacturer to validate the warranty.
