The Montauk 150 was unveiled in 2017 in Sarasota, Florida, during Boston Whaler's weeklong 60th anniversary celebration kickoff and was received with great enthusiasm. The new 150 Montauk is as versatile as always and maintains its reputation as one of the simplest boats to maintain with its "hose-and-go" feature that provides an effortless post-boating clean-up.
Every inch of the interior is effectively utilized to provide function or comfort for the operator and passengers. Whether outfitted for fishing, watersports, or both, the Boston Whaler 150 Montauk fulfills those functions better than ever. The precision-engineered shallow hull is designed to quickly get on plane and deliver a remarkably smooth, safe, and dry ride. The foam-filled hull not only provides an unsinkable boat but absorbs sound and vibration, giving a quiet and enjoyable ride.
The latest 150 Montauk comes with a host of new standard and optional features but has the functional layout and traditional lines of the original. The updated 150 Montauk has a sharper bow entry, modernized features, and new molded-in details that signal the latest Boston Whaler innovation. A 60hp Mercury Command Thrust FourStroke engine provides reliable, efficient performance, as well as a whole lot of fun. Each Boston Whaler Montauk includes a galvanized trailer with LED lights and swing tongue for easy transport to and from the water.
