The Tohatsu BFT150DK1LRA is a 150hp four-stroke outboard with remote steering, electric start, power trim and tilt, and a 20" long shaft, weighing 487 lbs. Built for larger center consoles, offshore boats and twin-engine setups. The 150hp is an in-line 4-cylinder with Variable Valve Timing and Lift Control for strong low-end torque and top-end speed, plus optimized fuel injection for easy starts, instant throttle response and good fuel economy. A 3-way cooling system adds protection against overheating. The latest DK1 version also reintroduces the O2 sensor with a revised cooling water path for better reliability, and makes routine maintenance easier with a new dipstick handle, oil filter flange and two-piece mid cover.

$490 Dealer Engine Prep - Our factory-qualified technicians perform a full test run of your new outboard by unpacking it and connecting it to the rigging, fuel, battery, and a diagnostic computer. We run the motor up to operating temperature and test every function to make sure your new motor is working just as it should. The manufacturer's required inspection checklist is completed and submitted to the manufacturer to validate the warranty.
