The Yamaha F40JEHA is a 40hp Jet Drive four-stroke outboard (30hp at the pump) with tiller steering, electric start, nitro-assist tilt, and a 20" long shaft, weighing 227 lbs. Yamaha's Jet Drive outboards go where propeller-driven motors can't: shallows, shoals, rocky-bottom rivers and rapids, with no prop to break on rocks or other underwater obstructions. The 747cc F40 Jet is a light, compact SOHC three-cylinder that produces 30hp at the pump, with a long-track induction system for quick throttle response.

$335 Dealer Engine Prep - Our factory-qualified technicians perform a full test run of your new outboard by unpacking it and connecting it to the rigging, fuel, battery, and a diagnostic computer. We run the motor up to operating temperature and test every function to make sure your new motor is working just as it should. The manufacturer's required inspection checklist is completed and submitted to the manufacturer to validate the warranty.
