The Yamaha T60LC is a 60hp High Thrust four-stroke outboard with remote mechanical controls, electric start, power trim and tilt, and a 20" long shaft, weighing 262 lbs. Built for jobs that need extra thrust, like pushing heavy pontoons, houseboats and sailboats, or as a kicker on a multi-species boat. As an authorized Yamaha dealer, Boat Specialists sells it new with the full Yamaha 3-year factory warranty, after our factory-qualified technicians test-run it.
Yamaha's 60hp High Thrust uses a 996cc SOHC four-cylinder, a composite long-track intake and Yamaha's YDC-30 aluminum alloy for a light, compact motor with serious pushing power. Its larger lower unit and higher gear ratio produce up to 60 percent more forward thrust and 70 percent more thrust in reverse with an optional Dual Thrust propeller.

Reliability & Durability:Incoming air is routed through an Air Intake Labyrinth System that traps and drains water before it enters the engine's intake for maximum reliability.
Required Fees
$335 Dealer Engine Prep - Our factory qualified technicians perform a full test run of your new outboard by unpackaging it and connecting it to rigging, fuel, battery, and diagnostic computer. We run the motor up to operating temperature and test every operation of the motor to ensure your new motor is working just as it should be. The manufacturer's required inspection checklist is completed and submitted to the manufacturer to validate the warranty.

Do I need a short or long shaft?
Measure your transom from the top edge straight down to the bottom of the hull: about 15" calls for a short shaft, 20" for a long shaft, 25" for an extra-long shaft, and 30" for an ultra-long shaft.
