The Yamaha T9.9LWHB is a 9.9hp High Thrust four-stroke outboard with tiller steering, electric start with a manual backup, and a 20" long shaft, weighing 102 lbs. It's a great kicker for bass, flats and multi-species boats, and a strong choice for any small boat that needs extra thrust. This is a non-current clearance unit. Whether you order a brand-new unit from Yamaha or grab one of these special stock units, the engine, design and everything else are exactly the same. The only difference is the model year, so you get the same Yamaha at a clearance price.
Yamaha's 212cc 9.9hp High Thrust has a larger lower unit and higher gear ratio than a standard outboard, and with its standard Dual Thrust propeller it produces up to 60 percent more forward thrust and 70 percent more thrust in reverse. Available with a 20" or 25" shaft, it can even handle boats with 25" transoms in deeper, rougher water.
