Description
The Achilles SU-16 Inflatable Boat is 16' long and 6'9" wide, weighing 371 lbs, with Hypalon tubes, an aluminum floor, a capacity of 9 persons or 3,170 lbs, and a maximum motor rating of 75hp Long Shaft.
Built tough to work hard, for rugged private and commercial use. Achilles SU Sport Utility boats add an extra heavy-duty layer of 840-denier nylon Achilles CSM fabric in a two-ply technique, making the fabric even stronger than a single base fabric of the same thickness. Commercial-grade features like recessed valves and a full-length protective wear patch make these boats the right choice for the toughest marine jobs.
The Achilles SU-16 is a seriously tough boat in the SU family. It's a common sight in commercial and government work, and it's also great for diving and other recreation that calls for extra-large loads, up to 3,170 pounds. Highlights include recessed inflation valves, a heavy-duty rigid deck system, a bailer sleeve and a full chafe guard across the tubes. It planes with up to 9 people on a 70 horsepower outboard.
Achilles is known worldwide for tough, long-lasting inflatable boats made with its own CSM fabric and four-layer seam construction, built to handle harsh sun, salt water and hard use. That's why Achilles boats are a favorite for everyone from weekend boaters to fire departments, rescue teams and commercial operators.
