Description
The Achilles SU-18 Inflatable Boat is 18' long and 7'7" wide, weighing 433 lbs, with Hypalon tubes, an aluminum floor, a capacity of 11 persons or 4,630 lbs, and a maximum motor rating of 90hp Long Shaft.
Built tough to work hard, for rugged private and commercial use. Achilles SU Sport Utility boats add an extra heavy-duty layer of 840-denier nylon Achilles CSM fabric in a two-ply technique, making the fabric even stronger than a single base fabric of the same thickness. Commercial-grade features like recessed valves and a full-length protective wear patch make these boats the right choice for the toughest marine jobs.
The Achilles SU-18 is the largest of the SU sport utility series, a very rugged boat built for commercial, rescue and utility work. It's also perfect for recreation that calls for heavy loads, since it carries up to 4,630 pounds, more than two tons. Top features include a heavy-duty rigid deck system, recessed valves, a bailer sleeve and a full chafe guard. On a 90 horsepower outboard it planes with up to 11 people.
Achilles is known worldwide for tough, long-lasting inflatable boats made with its own CSM fabric and four-layer seam construction, built to handle harsh sun, salt water and hard use. That's why Achilles boats are a favorite for everyone from weekend boaters to fire departments, rescue teams and commercial operators.
